ঈদে বাড়ী যাওয়া এবং ফেরত আসার ভোগান্তি কমাতে এবার ইদের ছুটি ৬ দিন হতা পারে বলে জানা গেছে। ছুটি সংক্রান্ত একটি প্রস্তাম প্রধানমন্ত্রীর কার্যালায়ে পাঠিয়েছেন। প্রধানমন্ত্রির অনুমতি পেলেই ছুটি চুরান্ত হবে বলে জানা গেছে। এবারের ঈদের ছুটি ২০ আগস্ট থেকে শুরু হতে পারে।
