এবারও স্মার্ট কার্ড পাচ্ছে না ১ কোটির ও বেশি ভোটার/More than 100 million voters are not getting smart cards

তিন বছর আগে ভোটার হওয়া ব্যক্তিদের স্মার্ট কার্ড নয়, লেমিনেটিং করা জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র দেয়া হবে। যন্ত্রপাতির অভাবে সব ভোটারদের কাছে স্মার্ট কার্ড পৌঁছতে কমপক্ষে আরও দুই বছর সময় লাগতে পারে। এরপর নতুন ভোটার দের  স্মার্ট কার্ড দেয়া হবে। নির্বাচন কমিশন সূত্রে এসব তথ্য জানা গেছে।
